Beagle Property Law

Beagle Property Laws

(Author Unknown)

If I like it, it's mine.

If it's in my mouth, it's mine.

If I can take it from you, it's mine.

If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.

If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.

If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.

If it just looks like mine, it's mine.

If I saw it first, it's mine.

If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.

If I get tired of it, it's yours.
If it's broken, it's yours.

Happy to 'Hound' Around

It is a great joy to have a beagle around. Very sweet, very sociable, brave, loyal,  and almost love everyone, great with kids that make them excellent pets.
Taking a beagle for a walk, one needs a lot of patient. Beagles are famous for their great sense of smell and stubbornness. They are the happiest when they are tracking, and won't easily to give up if there is something smells so interesting. Squirrels and rabbits are their favorite critters to chase around. Just don't let go of the leash no matter how hard they pull, or they will follow the scent, take off and never come back. Beagles don't know the danger and won't watch out for running bikes, nasty little skunks, and they love to bark at deliver trucks, especially UPS brown vans.

Pomegranate and Skunk

On a warm mid-summer's night, Beagle Baxter hung around in the lush backyard garden with stars twinkling above and lightning bugs dancing around...
Oh No! There is something (someone) is in the bushes deep in the shadows! Following his instinct, BB dove in, nose first of course. Next thing you know...Oh great, what is that horrible smell.

No tomato, no vinegar, no baking soda, no hydrogen peroxide, and not even that 'Miracle 8 in 1 skunk odor remover' when you just need it most!

Well, a little dish soap ( tough-on-grease-gentle-on-hand type) and a lot of Doggie Pomegranate Passion shampoo and conditioner rubbed in and water, lots of water. It worked! No skunky smell after this super duper doggie spa treatment.

Time spent: good 30 minutes or so
Cost: less than $1 (all readily available household stuff)
Result: Sweet! Very Effective
Science: ellagic acid in pomegranate can break up the oil from the skunk spray-a new scientific discovery
